My grandfather, Reginald Mulkins, signed-up to fight in the First World War overseas as an ammunition runner (mule skinner) in 1917 when he was 17 years old. I have scanned his diaries and correspondence relating to the dates of key Canadian battles, e.g. Vimy Ridge.
Hello. I am interested in your story about your Grandfather. My school has a remembrance assembly every year, and I was wondering if I can use your Grandfathers photo and journal for an art piece for the assembly. I do not want to disrespect your Grandfather in any way, I want to honor him. I fully understand if you decline. Thank You.
I am sorry that I only saw your request now. Are you still interested in using some of these images? Please let me know more about your project and where you are, what school, etc. The pandemic has put a damper on most school gatherings, but maybe by November 2021, things will be back to normal? Let's hope!
